Our aim is to turn shoes into educational and economic opportunities.
At Katie’s Soles, we turn gently used shoes and new socks into opportunity, by keeping them from going to waste and putting them to good use – providing relief, improving quality of life, and empowering people to break the cycle of poverty.
A world where everyone has the resources to focus on tomorrow, not just today.
To provide shoes and socks to those in need which leads them to opportunities for a more hopeful and tolerant future.
Katie's Soles provide shoes and socks to under-resourced individuals to prevent foot diseases and infections. Also, shoe donations contribute greatly to breaking the cycle of poverty because people subconsciously notice shoes and the care of shoes taken by their owner. Shoes may provide access to education and employment opportunities. Shoes may promote social cohesion. Katie's Soles and partner agencies have a positive impact on quality of life, health, and employment opportunities of an individual and the social unity within the community.
